REASONS AND SOLUTIONS FOR INSUFFICIENT POWER OF DIESEL ENGINES

1. THE AIR FILTER IS NOT CLEANUNCLEAN AIR FILTERS CAN INCREASE RESISTANCE, REDUCE AIR FLOW, DECREASE INFLATION EFFICIENCY, AND RESULT IN INSUFFICIENT ENGINE POWER. THE DIESEL AIR FILTER ELEMENT SHOULD BE CLEANED AS REQUIRED OR THE DUST ON THE PAPER FILTER ELEMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED, AND THE FILTER ELEMENT SHOULD BE REPLACED IF NECESSARY.2. EXHAUST PIPE BLOCKAGEBLOCKED EXHAUST PIPES CAN CAUSE POOR EXHAUST FLOW AND A DECREASE IN FUEL EFFICIENCY. DECREASED POWER. IT SHOULD BE CHECKED WHETHER THERE IS AN INCREASE IN EXHAUST RESISTANCE DUE TO EXCESSIVE CARBON BUILDUP IN THE EXHAUST PIPE. THE GENERAL EXHAUST BACK PRESSURE SHOULD NOT EXCEED 3.3KPA, AND THE ACCUMULATED CARBON IN THE EXHAUST PIPE SHOULD BE REGULARLY CLEANED.3. OIL SUPPLY ADVANCE ANGLE TOO LARGE OR TOO SMALLEXCESSIVE OR INSUFFICIENT FUEL SUPPLY ADVANCE ANGLE CAN CAUSE THE FUEL PUMP TO INJECT FUEL TOO EARLY OR TOO LATE (IF THE INJECTION TIME IS TOO EARLY, THE FUEL WILL NOT BURN SUFFICIENTLY, AND IF IT IS TOO LATE, WHITE SMOKE WILL BE EMITTED AND THE FUEL WILL ALSO BURN INSUFFICIENTLY), RESULTING IN THE COMBUSTION PROCESS NOT BEING IN A ****** STATE. AT THIS TIME, IT IS NECESSARY TO CHECK WHETHER THE SCREWS OF THE FUEL INJECTION TRANSMISSION SHAFT ADAPTER ARE LOOSE. IF THEY ARE LOOSE, THE FUEL SUPPLY ADVANCE ANGLE SHOULD BE ADJUSTED AGAIN ACCORDING TO THE REQUIREMENTS AND THE SCREWS SHOULD BE TIGHTENED.4. PULLING OF PISTON AND CYLINDER LINERDUE TO SEVERE STRAINS OR WEAR OF THE PISTON AND CYLINDER LINER, AS WELL AS INCREASED FRICTION LOSSES CAUSED BY PISTON RING ADHESION, THE MECHANICAL LOSSES OF THE ENGINE ITSELF INCREASE, THE COMPRESSION RATIO DECREASES, IGNITION BECOMES DIFFICULT OR INCOMPLETE, THE LOWER INFLATION INCREASES, AND AIR LEAKAGE IS SEVERE. AT THIS POINT, THE CYLINDER LINER, PISTON, AND PISTON RING SHOULD BE REPLACED.5. THERE IS A MALFUNCTION IN THE FUEL SYSTEM(1) AIR ENTERING OR BLOCKING THE FUEL FILTER OR PIPELINE CAN CAUSE BLOCKAGES IN THE OIL CIRCUIT, INSUFFICIENT POWER, AND EVEN DIFFICULTY IGNITING. THE AIR ENTERING THE PIPELINE SHOULD BE CLEARED, THE DIESEL FILTER ELEMENT SHOULD BE CLEANED, AND REPLACED IF NECESSARY.(2) DAMAGED FUEL INJECTION COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE OIL LEAKAGE, BITING OR POOR ATOMIZATION, WHICH CAN EASILY LEAD TO CYLINDER FAILURE AND INSUFFICIENT ENGINE POWER. IT SHOULD BE CLEANED, GROUND OR REPLACED IN A TIMELY MANNER.(3) INSUFFICIENT FUEL SUPPLY FROM THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP CAN ALSO CAUSE INSUFFICIENT POWER. IT IS NECESSARY TO CHECK, REPAIR OR REPLACE THE PARTS IN A TIMELY MANNER, AND READJUST THE FUEL SUPPLY OF THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP.6. THERE IS A MALFUNCTION IN THE COOLING AND LUBRICATION SYSTEMOVERHEATING OF A DIESEL ENGINE IS CAUSED BY A MALFUNCTION IN THE COOLING OR LUBRICATION SYSTEM, WHICH CAN RESULT IN EXCESSIVELY HIGH WATER AND OIL TEMPERATURES, LEADING TO CYLINDER PULLING OR PISTON RING JAMMING. WHEN THE EXHAUST TEMPERATURE OF THE DIESEL ENGINE INCREASES, THE COOLER AND RADIATOR SHOULD BE CHECKED TO REMOVE SCALE.7. THERE IS A MALFUNCTION IN THE CYLINDER HEAD ASSEMBLY(1) DUE TO EXHAUST GAS LEAKAGE CAUSING INSUFFICIENT INTAKE OR MIXED EXHAUST GAS IN THE INTAKE, IT LEADS TO INSUFFICIENT FUEL COMBUSTION AND A DECREASE IN POWER. THE MATING SURFACE BETWEEN THE VALVE AND THE VALVE SEAT SHOULD BE GROUND TO IMPROVE ITS SEALING PERFORMANCE, AND REPLACED IF NECESSARY.(2) LEAKAGE AT THE JOINT SURFACE BETWEEN THE CYLINDER HEAD AND THE ENGINE BLOCK CAN CAUSE AIR IN THE CYLINDER BLOCK TO ENTER THE WATER OR OIL PASSAGES, CAUSING COOLANT TO ENTER THE ENGINE BLOCK. IF NOT DETECTED IN A TIMELY MANNER, IT CAN LEAD TO "SLIDING TILES" OR BLACK SMOKE, RESULTING IN INSUFFICIENT ENGINE POWER. DUE TO THE DAMAGE OF THE CYLINDER GASKET, A STREAM OF AIR WILL RUSH OUT FROM THE GASKET DURING GEAR SHIFTING, CAUSING WATER BUBBLES TO APPEAR AT THE GASKET DURING ENGINE OPERATION. AT THIS TIME, THE CYLINDER HEAD NUT SHOULD BE TIGHTENED ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFIED TORQUE OR THE CYLINDER HEAD GASKET SHOULD BE REPLACED.(3) INCORRECT VALVE CLEARANCE CAN CAUSE AIR LEAKAGE, LEADING TO A DECREASE IN ENGINE POWER AND EVEN DIFFICULTY IGNITING. THE VALVE CLEARANCE SHOULD BE READJUSTED.(4) DAMAGED VALVE SPRINGS CAN CAUSE DIFFICULTY IN VALVE RETURN, VALVE LEAKAGE, AND REDUCED GAS COMPRESSION RATIO, RESULTING IN INSUFFICIENT ENGINE POWER. DAMAGED VALVE SPRINGS SHOULD BE REPLACED PROMPTLY.(5) LEAKAGE OR DAMAGE TO THE COPPER GASKET OF THE FUEL INJECTOR INSTALLATION HOLE CAN CAUSE CYLINDER SHORTAGE, RESULTING IN INSUFFICIENT ENGINE POWER. IT SHOULD BE DISASSEMBLED FOR MAINTENANCE AND DAMAGED PARTS SHOULD BE REPLACED. IF THE INLET WATER TEMPERATURE IS TOO LOW, IT WILL INCREASE THE HEAT DISSIPATION LOSS. AT THIS TIME, THE INLET TEMPERATURE SHOULD BE ADJUSTED TO MEET THE SPECIFIED VALUE.8. THE SURFACE OF THE CONNECTING ROD BEARING SHELL AND THE CRANKSHAFT CONNECTING ROD JOURNAL IS BITTEN BY DEBRISTHIS SITUATION MAY BE ACCOMPANIED BY ABNORMAL SOUNDS AND A DECREASE IN OIL PRESSURE, WHICH IS CAUSED BY BLOCKAGE OF THE OIL PASSAGE, DAMAGE TO THE OIL PUMP, BLOCKAGE OF THE OIL FILTER ELEMENT, OR LOW OR EVEN NO OIL PRESSURE. AT THIS POINT, THE SIDE COVER OF THE DIESEL ENGINE CAN BE REMOVED TO CHECK THE SIDE CLEARANCE OF THE CONNECTING ROD BIG END AND WHETHER THE CONNECTING ROD BIG END CAN MOVE FORWARD AND BACKWARD. IF IT CANNOT MOVE, IT INDICATES THAT IT HAS BEEN BITTEN AND THE CONNECTING ROD BEARING SHOULD BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED.AT THIS TIME, FOR TURBOCHARGED DIESEL ENGINES, IN ADDITION TO THE REASONS MENTIONED ABOVE, IF THE TURBOCHARGER BEARINGS ARE WORN, THE INTAKE PIPES OF THE PRESS AND TURBINE ARE BLOCKED OR LEAKED BY DIRT, THE POWER OF THE DIESEL ENGINE CAN ALSO BE REDUCED. WHEN THE ABOVE SITUATION OCCURS IN THE TURBOCHARGER, THE BEARINGS SHOULD BE INSPECTED OR REPLACED SEPARATELY, THE INTAKE PIPELINE AND HOUSING SHOULD BE CLEANED, THE IMPELLER SHOULD BE WIPED CLEAN, AND THE JOINT SURFACE NUTS AND CLAMPS SHOULD BE TIGHTENED.
